📋 Description

• Ethena Labs: a DeFi protocol building crypto-native dollar products (USDe, sUSDe) and institutional solutions (USDtb, iUSDe) and Converge hybrid blockchain. • Location: European or Asian Time Zone; remote/Globally Remote. • Role: Senior Engineer contributing to design, development, and scaling of core products and engineering systems with emphasis on backend architecture and integrations. • Responsibilities include strengthening backend infrastructure (Python), developing/maintaining secure APIs for mint/redeem, handling integrations and automation, improving reliability/security with failover and error handling, mentoring engineers, driving CI/CD and automated testing, and participating in system audits and post-mortems.

🎯 Requirements

• Deep knowledge of backend development, including building scalable APIs, data pipelines, and integrations (Python heavy) • Experience in API development (e.g., REST/GraphQL) with a focus on security, reliability, and ease of extension. • Proficiency in database design and optimisation (SQL/NoSQL) for high-performance environments. • An understanding of DevOps and infrastructure (AWS/GCP, Docker/Kubernetes, CI/CD). • Experience scaling systems to handle increasing loads, including latency reduction and resource optimization. • A proactive and curious problem-solver who can adapt to a fast-paced environment and make data-driven decisions. • Strong collaboration and mentorship skills. • Desire and willingness to learn crypto-native concepts (e.g., asset minting/redeeming, airdrop systems) if not already familiar.
