📋 Description

• Own product backlogs and delivery outcomes for multiple products and platforms • Translate product strategy into prioritised roadmaps and actionable requirements • Make day-to-day prioritisation and trade-off decisions balancing client commitments, technical health and new capability • Lead discovery, define success measures and ensure delivered work creates measurable value • Gather, document and validate business and user requirements • Define epics, user stories and acceptance criteria • Translate compliance and due diligence needs into clear, testable requirements • Lead backlog refinement and sprint planning • Act as decision-maker for scope and requirements, resolve questions, remove blockers and accept or reject delivered work • Coordinate dependencies across squads and locations and represent product areas in release planning • Build stakeholder relationships, present roadmaps and manage expectations • Maintain end-to-end requirement traceability • Lead pre-release and post-release enablement for internal teams • Lead product discovery, frame problems, form hypotheses and partner with UI/UX to validate ideas • Analyse workflows and user journeys to identify optimisation opportunities • Own usability testing and validation of delivered features • Define and track adoption, usage and impact measures after release • Work with AI & Data teams to take concepts and prototypes through to production-ready requirements • Define requirements for explainable AI-enabled features with confidence indicators and human-in-the-loop review • Partner with data and engineering teams on data quality, coverage and limitations • Produce and maintain requirement specifications, diagrams, workflows and product notes • Review QA test cases, lead UAT and confirm functionality meets requirements • Own release notes and user-facing documentation • Mentor and coach Product Owners and Business Analysts • Set standards for product ownership, story quality, refinement and documentation • Contribute to continuous improvement of team ways of working • Cover and escalate for the Head of Product Ownership when needed

🎯 Requirements

• Valid documents with permission to work in the Philippines • Business level (C1/C2) English, spoken and written • Analytical and detail-oriented, able to break down complex problems and translate them into structured requirements • User-focused, with the ability to understand user needs and advocate for solutions that improve user experience • Collaborative and influential, able to build strong stakeholder relationships and make difficult decisions • Curious and proactive, eager to learn about product and feature capabilities, market trends, and client challenges • Decisive and comfortable working with ambiguity and incomplete information • Strong working knowledge of agile principles and practices • Strong communicator, capable of producing clear documentation and articulating requirements, priorities and trade-offs to technical and non-technical audiences • Organised and structured, able to manage multiple priorities across several products and maintain tidy backlogs • 6–10 years’ experience working as a Product Owner or equivalent function within an agile, ideally B2B SaaS, environment, including time owning a product area end to end • Track record of delivering measurable product outcomes and mentoring or coaching others • Knowledge of compliance, due diligence or a related field is strongly preferred • Experience delivering AI-embedded product development would be well regarded • Professional product ownership certification (e.g., PSPO II, A-CSPO) would be an advantage • Ability to align working hours with the UK until 12pm GMT
