📋 Description

• Support efficient and accurate operation of a fast-paced laboratory • Greet clients, vendors, and visitors and answer general questions • Collect samples from the on-site drop box • Unpack shipments and document receipt of samples • Organize and record samples • Enter data into LIMS • Maintain the department and laboratory, including stocking supplies and housekeeping • Assist with customer service and handle walk-in clients • Conduct all activities safely and efficiently • Process daily mail and small shipments of bottle kits • Perform other duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent • Further education in biological or chemical science preferred • Experience in a fast-paced work environment • Lab experience and exposure to the environmental industry preferred • TALS experience is a plus • Strong computer, organizational, and problem-solving skills • Ability to work independently and as part of a team • Self-motivated, adaptable, and positive attitude • Ability to handle moderate stress in a fast-paced environment • Detail-oriented data entry skills • Ability to prioritize • Customer service skills • Science-based background preferred • Must live a commutable distance to Ayer, MA • Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship • Professional working proficiency in English, including the ability to read, write, and speak English • Must work Monday–Friday, 8:30am–4:30pm
