📋 Description
• Learn and apply the structured methodology for drafting a research paper in an approved researchable area • Develop research, analytical writing, and policy drafting skills • Conduct literature reviews and policy analysis • Prepare research notes • Draft a supervised research paper, policy brief, or analytical report • Address critical policy challenges and propose innovative solutions • Collaborate with experienced researchers and mentors • Apply data-driven approaches to formulate policy recommendations • Contribute research findings to academic and policy-oriented publications • Select one researchable area for conducting the research • Complete a four-week methodology learning/training program followed by a four-week research writing phase
🎯 Requirements
• Currently enrolled in or have completed a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctoral program from a recognized university • Applicants from all academic disciplines are encouraged to apply • Good written English • Interest in policy research, human rights, governance, law, or related areas • Ability to work independently in a remote virtual environment • Ability to meet specified deadlines • Willingness to follow research methodology and supervisor feedback • No prior research paper writing or publication experience required • Open to working and non-working professionals from all sectors
