📋 Description

• Define and own the end-to-end payments strategy for Joist and Invoice Simple, ensuring alignment with EverCommerce’s overall payments and fintech roadmap. • Identify new opportunities for embedded financial products (ACH, instant payouts, wallets, BNPL, etc.) tailored to trades and small business customers. • Develop and execute PLG motions to increase adoption and engagement with payments features, including onboarding flows, pricing experiments, feature packaging, and in-app education. • Partner closely with Product, Design, and Engineering to ensure payments features are seamlessly integrated into the customer journey. • Build and own payments KPIs including attach rate, volume, revenue, churn reduction, and customer LTV. • Drive experimentation and analytics to optimize pricing, monetization, and payments adoption at scale. • Collaborate with Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success to align product-led initiatives with lifecycle campaigns, education, and support. • Partner with Finance and Executive Leadership to forecast, track, and report on payments performance. • Stay ahead of fintech and payments trends relevant to SMB and trades industries, informing product roadmap and strategic bets.

🎯 Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in payments, fintech, or SaaS strategy, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role • Proven success scaling embedded payments adoption and revenue within a SaaS or SMB-focused product • Strong understanding of product-led growth mechanics and ability to translate PLG strategy into execution • Data-driven decision maker with strong analytical skills and ability to drive strategy through experimentation • Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills • Experience with field services, construction trades, or SMB-focused platforms is a plus.
