📋 Description

• Research and map vertical software markets across France • Identify and assess potential acquisition opportunities • Analyse companies’ business models, markets, competitive positioning and financial performance • Build valuation analyses and review software-specific metrics, including recurring revenue, retention, growth and profitability • Prepare company profiles, investment materials and internal recommendations • Support financial, commercial and operational due diligence • Assist the team throughout transaction execution and closing • Engage with founders and business owners as part of the origination process • Maintain accurate company and transaction data in the CRM • Contribute to AI and automation initiatives across sourcing, screening and internal M&A processes

🎯 Requirements

• Currently completing a Master’s degree in finance, business or engineering • Previous experience in investment banking, private equity, corporate development, transaction services or a similar environment • Understanding of financial statements, valuation methods and M&A processes • Strong financial modelling, analytical and synthesis skills • Interest in software, technology and recurring-revenue business models • Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint • Professional fluency in French and English • German or Spanish would be an advantage
