📋 Description

• Ensure that third-party team deliveries and services follow the defined standards and procedures; • Ensure that deliveries meet the needs and actually provide the expected value; • Coordinate processes, people, resources and support related to software quality control and assurance; • Manage the performance of contracted professionals, applying workaround solutions for day-to-day issues; • Ensure continuity of service; • Identify training needs and technical improvement opportunities for the third-party team; • Resolve first-level issues for the third-party team and escalate unresolved problems to management in a timely manner; • Control processes and activities and the quality of services provided, planning and overseeing service execution, as well as manage deliveries during contractor absences such as vacations, medical leave, etc.; • Manage the third-party team, providing instructions, guidance and standards for task execution; • Generate performance indicators for the processes and projects under your responsibility; • Prepare presentations and monitoring reports for strategic projects; • Manage strategic projects related to software quality; • Lead and support Strategic Projects, including executive reporting and specification of phases with compliance to deadlines and objectives; • Provide executive reports on project progress.

🎯 Requirements

• Completed academic degree in Information Technology; • Proven experience of more than 6 years in project management and QA; • Mastery of the entire software engineering process, from requirements gathering to software deployment; • Theoretical and practical expertise in software testing and overall software quality; • Leadership, negotiation and decision-making skills; • Critical thinking; • Self-management and communication skills (ability to express oneself orally and in writing with accuracy and clarity, and to easily understand written and spoken messages); • Skills in risk analysis and management, estimation and planning; • Ability to make sound decisions quickly under stress and to provide direction to the third-party team; • Conflict management skills; • Knowledge of software testing discipline and of test maturity models available in the market; • Knowledge of the principles and practices of agile software development, including the Agile Manifesto, Scrum, Extreme Programming (XP) and Kanban; • Experience with teams operating under DevOps practices.
