• Translate business product strategy into executable technical deliverables • Manage complex product backlogs and drive tactical execution • Mentor junior TPOs and coach them on story writing, requirements, acceptance practices, and quality standards • Design solutions integrating AI capabilities such as LLMs, RAG, and agents where appropriate • Use AI assistants such as GitHub Copilot or Claude for code generation, test creation, documentation, and learning • Write AI-ready Given-When-Then/Gherkin requirements • Evaluate AI outputs and shape team practices for prompt design, evaluation, and safety • Author comprehensive user stories and define acceptance criteria covering happy paths, edge cases, errors, integrations, security, performance, and compliance • Provide sample data, API specifications, and reference implementations • Document dependencies, integration points, and system interactions • Collaborate with product managers, architects, technical leads, Scrum Masters, developers, QA engineers, and designers • Review and accept completed stories and validate production readiness • Test functionality against Given-When-Then scenarios and integration points • Coordinate with QA on acceptance criteria and automated testing strategies • Own, maintain, prioritize, and sequence backlogs across teams or complex product areas • Create release plans and identify or escalate strategic risks and impediments • Lead sprint planning, refinement, reviews, and retrospectives • Present completed work and communicate sprint progress, release readiness, and risks • Facilitate requirements discovery sessions and lead User Acceptance Testing • Negotiate scope, priorities, and trade-offs • Review junior team members’ stories and contribute to hiring, onboarding, training, and communities of practice • Drive adoption of tools, methodologies, and practices that improve delivery effectiveness
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field • 7–10 years as a TPO, Business Analyst, or Technical Product Owner in Agile teams • Minimum 3–5 years at senior/lead level handling complex, enterprise-scale products • Expert in writing detailed user stories with comprehensive acceptance criteria using Given-When-Then format • Strong Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) experience • Advanced technical acumen with system architecture, data models, APIs, and integration patterns • Proven leadership within Agile/Scrum teams • Expert proficiency with Agile tools (Jira, Azure DevOps, Confluence) • Outstanding communication skills and ability to influence senior stakeholders • Experience mentoring junior team members • Preferred: CSPO, A-CSPO, CPO, or PMI-ACP certification • Preferred: Experience with BDD tools (Cucumber, SpecFlow, Behave) • Preferred: Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools (GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude, etc.) • Preferred: Understanding of test automation, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices • Preferred: Background in software development, architecture, or QA • Preferred: Experience leading product ownership for multiple teams
