📋 Description

• Develop and maintain scalable, resilient RESTful APIs using TypeScript and Ruby on Rails • Participate in the entire development lifecycle: architecture, implementation, automated testing, deployment, and production monitoring • Contribute to the evolution of the core platform (monolith), microservices initiatives, and integrations with partners such as ERPs, payment gateways, and external platforms • Ensure technical quality through code reviews, Clean Code, SOLID principles, and team standards • Monitor and optimize performance using APM, resource tuning, and query analysis and optimization • Work in multidisciplinary squads using agile Scrum/Kanban methodologies, collaborating with engineering and product teams • Navigate different contexts and collaborate with TypeScript and mobile teams and workflows while maintaining a systems-level perspective • Work autonomously on a temporary 2- to 3-month project, with the possibility of continuation

🎯 Requirements

• Experience with Ruby on Rails • Strong experience with TypeScript • Advanced knowledge of REST APIs, including design, documentation, and consumption • Strong experience with PostgreSQL and data modeling • Experience with Git/GitHub • Strong familiarity with automated testing, including RSpec and unit, integration, and black-box testing approaches • Experience with cloud environments, particularly AWS • Ownership mindset: autonomy, proactivity, and a focus on delivering value with technical accountability • Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes • Knowledge of NoSQL databases and caches/queues, including Redis, DocumentDB, and DynamoDB • Experience with CI/CD, including GitHub Actions and Argo CD • Preferred: microservices architecture and messaging, particularly AWS SNS/SQS • Spanish is a plus but not required
