• Champion the direct sales effort in assigned territory • Generate direct sales and develop customers within specified territory • Meet new business unit volume objectives • Achieve product certification as required • Train customers and other personnel in the company's product line • Attend Right Start training events quarterly • Attend sales meetings as needed • Attend, coordinate and participate in regional and national trade shows • Recommend new product changes as well as other new product ideas • Maintain up-to-date CRM logging, daily contacts, account contact and asset information, and sales opportunities • Supply monthly and rolling 90-day New Business forecast based on customer interaction and CRM data • Track customer presentations, demonstrations, and training events in CRM monthly • Submit expense report on a timely basis • Assist with development of competitive manufacturer's profiles and report their activity to product management • Ensure that all business conducted in the region is consistent with the company's mission statement and standard policies and procedures (SPP) • Complete other assignments as required
• 3+ years of sales experience • Mechanical aptitude required • Effective communication style is required • High degree of motivation and initiative required • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office
