📋 Description

• Plan and develop studies and diagnostics on public education challenges, defining research questions, indicators, population breakdowns, and methodological strategies. • Structure, integrate, and analyze datasets from internal sources and public educational and socioeconomic databases. • Develop indicators and analytical models to support monitoring, evaluation, and improvement of programs and public policies. • Apply statistical techniques to investigate educational inequalities, school trajectories, learning outcomes, access, retention, and other education-related topics. • Prepare analytical reports, technical notes, executive presentations, and data visualizations, translating evidence into recommendations for decision-making. • Serve as a technical reference on data and applied research projects, supporting multidisciplinary teams and ensuring the methodological quality of deliverables. • Conduct technical liaison with public managers, researchers, and institutional partners to present results and support the strategic use of evidence.

🎯 Requirements

• Master’s degree in Economics (completed or in progress). • Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Public Policy Management, Social Sciences, Engineering, or related fields. • Proficiency with data analysis tools such as R, Stata, or Python. • Experience using public educational and socioeconomic datasets, such as the School Census (Censo Escolar), SAEB, PNAD Continuous, and other administrative databases. • Knowledge of descriptive and inferential statistics, exploratory analysis, and quantitative and qualitative research methodologies. • Experience producing applied research, and monitoring and evaluation of public policies. • Ability to translate complex analyses into clear, strategic insights for diverse audiences.
