📋 Description
• Maintain accurate general ledger entries across French, US, and Australian entities • Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, and provisions • Perform balance sheet reconciliations and investigate variances • Support month-end and year-end closing activities • Manage and reconcile intercompany transactions • Support audit requests and maintain complete accounting documentation • Process and code supplier invoices and manage approvals • Create and review suppliers and reconcile supplier accounts • Manage expense reports and answer accounting queries • Issue customer invoices and support collections • Reconcile customer accounts and monitor aging balances • Support revenue reconciliation • Support the transition from Pennylane/Odoo to NetSuite • Perform parallel testing and validate accounting flows and data • Identify system discrepancies and support reconciliation • Provide operational capacity during the ERP implementation • Leverage AI and automation tools to improve accounting workflows and productivity • Report directly to the Financial Controller and collaborate with the Finance team
🎯 Requirements
• 8+ years of experience in General / GL Accounting • Strong hands-on experience across GL, AP, and AR • Experience with month-end closing, reconciliations, accruals, provisions, and intercompany transactions • Proven hands-on experience with Pennylane and Odoo • Experience in international, multi-entity, and multi-currency environments • Comfort working across different jurisdictions; exposure to France, the US, and/or Australia highly valued • Excellent attention to detail and strong reconciliation skills • Ability to quickly understand existing processes and work autonomously • Comfort working in a remote, fast-paced, and evolving environment • Fluent English; French is a plus • NetSuite experience is a bonus • Experience supporting an ERP implementation or migration is a bonus • Experience in a Tech, SaaS, or scale-up environment is a bonus • Experience with multi-currency accounting and consolidation is a bonus • Comfort leveraging AI-powered tools and automation is a bonus
