📋 Description

• supervise a team of UI/UX researchers, designers, and writers • evaluate user requirements by collaborating with product managers and cross-functional teams • apply high quality, research-driven solutions in alignment with business goals and objectives • perform usability assessments of Motion websites • assist with user research discussions • translate complex user research findings, analytics data, and customer feedback into elegant design solutions • design engaging user experiences for a variety of applications • illustrate design ideas using storyboards, process flows and sitemaps • make strategic and tactical UX decisions • conduct regular design reviews with design and development teams • produce a full range of design artifacts, including low-fidelity wireframes, high-fidelity mockups, and interactive prototypes • partner with marketing and analytics teams to understand user behavior data • study and evaluate how users feel about a system • translate user needs and business requirements into features and functionality for web/mobile experiences • lead the collection of user feedback • mentor lower-level UI/UX employees

🎯 Requirements

• typically requires a bachelor's degree • five (5) or more years of related experience or an equivalent combination • deep and applied understanding of core user-centered design principles • information architecture • interaction design patterns • visual design theory (typography, color, layout) • usability heuristics • strong understanding of responsive design practices • experience leading design reviews • providing constructive, creative feedback • experience using project management tools • expertise in A/B testing • strong analytical skills • knowledge of web accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG) • commitment to inclusive design • proficiency in Figma, Zeplin, and Adobe Creative Cloud • experience developing and designing design systems and component libraries • proficient in MS Office
