📋 Description

• Collaborate with the Engineering Manager, Architect, Product Manager, and team to understand needs and translate functional requirements into system requirements • Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain web-based applications across the full software development lifecycle • Improve application functionality, performance, reliability, and maintainability • Develop business, product, and domain understanding and recommend functional improvements • Identify technical blind spots and clarify ambiguity in ideas and designs • Align with team goals, prioritize work, and propose scope adjustments • Own assigned modules and independently develop high-quality features • Create basic project plans for small projects and development initiatives • Follow coding, development, quality assurance, and configuration management standards • Participate in code reviews and improve team processes, code, and work items • Design and develop database solutions, maintain database objects, and support performance tuning • Troubleshoot and debug applications, address performance bottlenecks, and resolve operational issues • Develop understanding of production infrastructure, interfaces, integrations, and product dependencies • Participate in Agile ceremonies and recommend practical process improvements • Build cross-team relationships and communicate requirements with partner groups

🎯 Requirements

• Graduate or postgraduate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline • Minimum of 3+ years of hands-on software development experience • Hands-on experience with C# (.NET Core, .NET Framework), TypeScript, NestJS, and Node.js • Experience with microservices and event-driven architecture using Apache Kafka or other event processing services • Experience with React.js or Angular • Experience with AWS cloud services, preferably including EC2, S3, Lambda, EFS, ECS, EKS, API Gateway, SQS, IAM, and VPC • Experience with MS SQL Server, PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, or DocumentDB • Experience with Docker and Kubernetes • Experience with Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, ArgoCD, YAML, and PowerShell • Experience with Splunk, ELK Stack, or DataDog • Knowledge of unit testing, BDD, and TDD • Git-based source-code management experience • Jira and Agile/Scrum practices • Hands-on experience using AI tools such as Cursor, Claude, or Pi and agentic coding assistants • Strong verbal, written, interpersonal, and stakeholder-management skills • Knowledge of Python, Databricks, or AWS/Azure Developer certification is nice to have
