📋 Description

• Lead, manage, and develop a team of 8–10 internal sales representatives (ISRs) to achieve and exceed revenue targets. • Conduct weekly 1:1s, team meetings, and ongoing training sessions to improve product knowledge, sales skills, and performance consistency. • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, coaching, and continuous improvement. • Own forecasting, pipeline management, and monthly/quarterly revenue attainment for the ISR team. • Monitor activity metrics (calls, emails, demos, opportunities) and coach representatives based on data-driven insights. • Implement best practices for consultative selling into public safety agencies with complex procurement cycles. • Support reps in deal strategy, objection handling, and closing high-impact opportunities. • Refine and enforce consistent inside sales processes within CRM and sales tools. • Partner with marketing on lead quality, campaign follow-up, and conversion optimization. • Collaborate with product and customer success teams to ensure strong value demonstration and seamless handoffs. • Maintain deep understanding of First Due’s solutions, competitive landscape, and agency pain points. • Stay informed about industry trends, government procurement processes, and regulatory requirements relevant to public safety software. • Provide feedback to product teams on customer needs and market demands.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of B2B SaaS sales experience, with at least two years in a management or team lead role. • Proven track record of leading a high-performance inside sales team with successful quota attainment. • Strong understanding of the full sales cycle—prospecting, qualification, demos, evaluations, and closing. • Exceptional coaching, communication, and leadership skills. • Experience working with CRM systems (Salesforce preferred) and modern sales engagement tools. • Experience selling into public safety, government agencies, or highly regulated markets. • Background in managing long and complex sales cycles. • Familiarity with RFP/RFQ processes and government purchasing workflows. • Strong analytical and process-oriented mindset.
