📋 Description

• Maintain the general ledger and chart of accounts, ensuring accuracy and consistency. • Perform monthly account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies. • Own month-end accounting close activities, including journal entries and general ledger close processes. • Prepare and analyze variance analysis comparing actual results to budget and forecasts. • Prepare quarterly and annual financial statements for internal reporting and tax purposes, and assist in preparation of quarterly board of director Finance materials. • Draft and maintain accounting policies, procedures, and technical accounting memos. • Ensure compliance with IFRS and internal controls. • Work cross-functionally with Sales & Engineering teams to develop scalable finance processes for revenue operations, accounting automations and cost management. • Administer Payroll, Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable, including invoicing, collections, and vendor payments. • Work directly with external auditors, tax accountants, and legal advisors as required. • Support continuous improvement of accounting processes, systems, and documentation.

🎯 Requirements

• Undergraduate degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, or a related field. • CPA designation. • 3-5 years of experience in a controllership, senior accounting, or similar role. • Strong working knowledge of IFRS and financial reporting requirements. • Solid understanding of full-cycle accounting and financial close processes. • High attention to detail with strong organizational and time-management skills. • Ability to work independently and take ownership of deliverables. • **Preferred Qualifications** • Proficiency with QuickBooks Online (QBO). • Familiarity with SaaS business accounting (e.g., revenue recognition, deferred revenue, intangible assets). • Experience in a large, mature organization with knowledge of robust accounting and internal controls frameworks, revenue operations, and/or in a public accounting external audit capacity. • Proficiency with leveraging AI tools to enhance productivity and eliminate manual processes (e.g., Claude, ChatGPT).
