📋 Description

• Design, implement, and automate components of large-scale distributed cloud systems. • Implement and support PAM solutions primarily on OpenStack, ensuring secure and reliable access management. • Build tools, automation, and workflows to improve availability, scalability, latency, and operational efficiency. • Work closely with engineering and delivery teams to deploy high-quality software in a fast-paced environment. • Monitor production and development environments and implement preventive and corrective measures to ensure platform reliability. • Participate in incident response, debugging, and root cause analysis for production issues. • Collaborate across teams to deliver consistent and reliable solutions aligned with organizational goals. • Document designs, operational procedures, and troubleshooting guides clearly and effectively. • Contribute to improvements in reliability metrics such as availability, MTTD, and MTTR.

🎯 Requirements

• 5–7+ years of experience in software engineering, cloud platform engineering, DevOps, or production operations. • 3+ years of hands-on experience supporting systems, debugging production issues, and working with networking concepts. • 3+ years of public cloud experience (OpenStack, AWS, or GCP), with OpenStack experience preferred. • Experience implementing and supporting security or access management solutions, including PAM. • Strong hands-on experience with infrastructure as code and automation, using Terraform, Ansible, and scripting languages (Python, Bash, or similar). • Working knowledge of containerization and orchestration technologies, including Kubernetes, Helm, and Docker. • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and Git-based workflows (e.g., GitLab). • Strong troubleshooting skills across applications, infrastructure, and cloud services. • Candidates must demonstrate solid experience with Linux environments, including system administration, scripting, and performance troubleshooting • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and collaboration skills. • Strong written and verbal communication skills. • BS in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience. • You will be required to maintain working hours that overlap with U.S. Pacific time zones to support collaboration.
