📋 Description

• Develop and enhance a complex B2B portal in the insurance domain • Implement requirements in the frontend (Apache Wicket) and backend (Spring, Hibernate) • Integrate messaging components using JMS • Data modeling and access using MS SQL • Close collaboration with Product Owners, QA and DevOps in an agile environment (Scrum/Kanban) • Contribute to architectural decisions and technical evolution • Use and evaluate AI-assisted tools for code generation or test automation • Focus on software quality through automated testing and/or security reviews

🎯 Requirements

• Several years of experience in full-stack development with Java • Strong knowledge of: Spring Framework, Apache Wicket, Hibernate / JPA, JMS (e.g., ActiveMQ, RabbitMQ), MS SQL Server • Experience with agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) • Knowledge of test automation (e.g., JUnit, Mockito) or IT security • Experience with AI-assisted code generation (e.g., GitHub Copilot, CodeWhisperer) is a plus • Excellent written and spoken German; English skills are an advantage
