• Develop, build, and operationalize our credit portfolio focused on balancing growth vs. risk with an end goal of minimizing our loss rate. • Optimize our efforts to reduce bad debt and loss rates across current and future FloatMe products while delivering on our business goals. • Drive our credit risk philosophy for new and existing customers, understanding different levers and acceptable risk. • Work with our internal Data Engineering team to improve our processes and learnings through machine learning. • Consistently review data and deliver results on credit risk, user trends, and adjust our thresholds accordingly. • Partner cross-functionally with Finance, Compliance, Product, Engineering and Member Support to reduce bad debt while keeping our users top of mind.
• 8+ years of experience in progressive experience in credit, ideally within consumer lending. • Demonstrated consumer lending experience in a company that has an end-to-end automated process. • Experience in fintech or modern lending platforms that prioritize automated credit decisioning. • Experience working with product, engineering, member support, compliance, and finance members to establish our risk thresholds, product changes, and consumer usage. • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and make sound credit decisions. • Results driven and forward thinking approach with ability to problem-solve complex issues to drive shared goals and outcomes. • Exceptional attention to detail, ability to collaborate and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
