📋 Description

• Implements engineering best practices and Flowserve standards, reviews new standards and identifies gaps • Generates 3d models for engineered products. • Support to internal contacts such as customer service, sales, engineering, and manufacturing. • Apply programs & methods of solving problems and modify existing product designs to meet customer needs & to improve product life. • Work with other Design Engineers to promptly investigate & resolve • Read and interpret machine drawings and Bill of Materials • Create 3D models from mechanical drawings • Create parametric 3D CAD models and Assembly drawings • Interprets and creates 3D models based on hydraulic drawings of impellers. • Interprets and creates 3D models based on hydraulic drawings of bowl casing and pump volutes, API classification: OH, BB1, BB2, BB3 . as minimum • Organizes and updates electronic document management system.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor of Science Engineering degree or equivalent and/or 2-5 years related experience • Continuous Improvement Process (CIP) methodology understanding. • High standard of written & spoken English; strong PC skills; additional language skills desirable. • Able to effectively self-manage; makes decisions around priorities. • Capable of working closely with internal and external customers (face to face or by telephone) and having good verbal and written communication skills. • Ability to work effectively in a fast paced environment. • Solid knowledge of Solidworks • Drawing interpretation of English language (familiarity with terms). • Knowledge of pump´s parts. • Drawing standards: ANSI & ISO • Drafting Standard AWS & ISO Welding Symbols • Flowserve Drafting Procedures • Knowledge of manufacturing processes • Pre-process Modeling for "CFD & FEA" analysis • Modeling for casting process (hydraulic parts).
