📋 Description

• Further develop the pump aftermarket business through technical services, repairs, upgrades, and strategic lifecycle solutions • Identify and develop new business opportunities together with Sales Engineers among existing and prospective customers • Advise customers on technically and commercially compelling solutions based on a Total Cost of Ownership approach • Clearly demonstrate the customer benefits and commercial value of repair, upgrade, and service concepts • Support complex pump applications, damage and repair assessments, upgrade concepts, and customer-specific solutions • Work closely with the Sales Manager and Sales Engineers on account strategies, priorities, and the development of specific solutions • Conduct Voice-of-the-Customer activities and translate customer requirements into appropriate product, service, and sales initiatives • Coordinate pump aftermarket business development activities and support their implementation • Further develop the business for demanding engineered pump solutions across the installed base, particularly in power generation applications • Promote the sustainable development and exchange of technical expertise relating to installed pumps, applications, and lifecycle solutions • Collaborate with Sales Engineers, Service Centers, Engineering, and other internal specialist functions to identify and realize growth opportunities

🎯 Requirements

• Successfully completed degree (e.g., Mechanical Engineering or Process Engineering) or an equivalent technical qualification • Several years of professional experience in pumps, rotating equipment, aftermarket services, applications engineering, field service, or technical sales • Strong understanding of centrifugal pumps, pump hydraulics, repairs, upgrades, and applications across the installed base • Strong customer focus and the ability to communicate technical matters clearly and persuasively to different audiences • Structured, self-directed working style and enthusiasm for cross-functional collaboration • Fluent German and very good written and spoken English • High willingness to travel, approximately 60–80% within Germany and Switzerland and to Flowserve Service Centers • Experience in the energy, water, or refining/petrochemical industries is an advantage
