📋 Description

• Translate customer needs into effective solutions and support new customer acquisition • Support the technical side of the sales process, from discovery and product demos through pilots and proofs of value • Lead workshops with asset management, investment, property management, and IT teams, turning processes into clearly defined solution scopes with measurable success criteria • Develop and deliver tailored product demos • Support the sales team and Account Executives in the technical evaluation of opportunities • Address technical objections and present to senior stakeholders • Take technical ownership of customer pilots, configure solutions, and validate outcomes • Support handovers to Implementation and Customer Success • Set up initial customer workspaces and document workflows in coordination with customer IT teams • Work with APIs, SharePoint, and data exports as needed, and verify AI-generated outputs against source documents • Share evidence-based customer feedback with Product and Engineering • Turn successful pilots into reusable demos and playbooks • Build and lead a Solutions Engineering team as the company grows

🎯 Requirements

• 2+ years of experience as a Solutions Engineer or in a similar pre-sales role (e.g., Sales Engineer, Pre-Sales Consultant, Solutions Architect) at a software company, ideally in the AI space • Experience with demos and proofs of value, as well as supporting deals in partnership with Account Executives • Experience handling technical objections and presenting to senior stakeholders • Ability to translate complex business processes into practical technical requirements and explain technical concepts clearly • Strong communication and presentation skills in German and English • Ability to work autonomously and manage multiple customer projects simultaneously • Knowledge of real estate or PropTech, such as a practical understanding of at least one core real estate workflow; direct experience on an investment, asset management, or property management team is a plus • Experience with implementations or technical customer onboarding • Working knowledge of SQL or a scripting language such as Python or JavaScript/TypeScript, along with practical experience with APIs, authentication, data mapping, and integrations • Practical experience with AI tools and document workflows, including quality assurance • Familiarity with Microsoft 365, SharePoint, and enterprise access controls • Experience building repeatable processes at a startup or growing software company
