Focal One is a medical device platform that provides a robotic High-Intensity Focused Ultrasound (HIFU) system for non‑invasive, focal ablation of prostate tissue. The system combines submillimetric robotic positioning, real‑time ultrasound imaging, dynamic focusing probes, and fusion software to precisely target lesions while sparing healthy tissue, aiming to reduce side effects and preserve quality of life. Focal One is marketed to hospitals and urology practices and is supported by clinical publications and regulatory clearances in multiple countries.

📋 Description

• Responsible for the safe operation, optimization, and clinical integration of state-of-the-art robotic systems • Maintenance and servicing: planning and carrying out regular maintenance measures, including safety checks (STK) and metrological checks (MTK) • Compliance with the Medical Device Regulation (MDR) • Coordination of deployment plans and ordering of spare parts in cooperation with various departments • Repair and troubleshooting at the customer's site: rapid diagnosis and repair of technical defects • Installation and commissioning of new devices, as well as training of medical staff • Documentation of all service calls, test results, and changes to master data • Technical support for customers or clinical staff with questions about applications

🎯 Requirements

• Several years of experience in the maintenance and repair of medical devices • Solid knowledge and training in medical technology or comparable professional education (e.g., robotics, electrical engineering, or mechatronics) • Very good command of written and spoken German (C1–C2) and good command of written and spoken English
