📋 Description

• Update and maintain WordPress sites and pages using ACF, custom templates, theme modifications, Elementor Pro, WPBakery, Divi, and related tools • Implement new sections, templates, and layout variations based on briefs, wireframes, or existing design systems • Build and maintain Shopify collections, custom pages, and theme changes using JSON and Liquid • Support custom logic for templates, product/collection layouts, and landing pages • Transform Google Docs and content outlines into clean, conversion-optimized web pages • Structure content for readability and engagement using headings, spacing, CTAs, visual hierarchy, images, tables, and other media • Apply on-page SEO best practices including meta tags, headings, internal links, schema, and Yoast/Rank Math configuration • Use Google Lighthouse, Screaming Frog, and Ahrefs to identify and help resolve technical SEO issues • Assist in configuring tracking setups in Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager • Help implement and validate event tracking for form submissions, key button clicks, and conversions • Review published pages for formatting accuracy, responsiveness, and technical performance • Test across devices and browsers to ensure a consistent user experience • Work in different CMS environments such as Headless WordPress, Webflow, and Framer when required • Follow established workflows, naming conventions, and client-specific publishing processes • Collaborate closely with content strategists and project managers to turn briefs and Google Docs into high-performing pages

🎯 Requirements

• 4+ years of hands-on WordPress development experience, including ACF, theme edits, custom templates, Elementor Pro, WPBakery, and Divi • 1+ years of Shopify development experience using JSON and Liquid • Strong HTML and CSS skills • Basic JavaScript knowledge for front-end interactions and enhancements • Demonstrated portfolio of live sites and ability to explain contributions from code and/or CMS dashboard • 3+ references including, at minimum, full name, company, role/title, phone and/or email, and dates (from/to) • Working knowledge of SEO best practices and Google Lighthouse fundamentals • English level C1, comfortable communicating with an international, English-speaking team • Familiarity with Asana, Jira, or Teamwork is nice to have • Basic proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator, and/or Figma is nice to have • Experience with AI tools such as ChatGPT or GitHub Copilot is nice to have • Good eye for design and basic UX/UI principles is nice to have
