📋 Description

• Provide operational, administrative and HR support • Serve as a part of a non-profit organization that does work across multiple states • Increase the capacity of the business office team, allowing operations to expand with a growing organization • Support for business operations including accounts payable, processing employee expenses and reimbursements, support staff with insurance documentation • Planning and logistical support for Guild events • Processing donations and membership payments and providing reports to accountants • Give day-to-day administrative support and communication across different regions and departments • Stay up to date with state labor laws • Follow up with notifying employees of any changes and updating the Guild employees’ poster wall among other channels • Orientation and onboarding support for incoming employees, particularly for seasonal crew members in the eastern states • Workers’ Compensation Audit support

🎯 Requirements

• Degree/certificate in a related field such as business administration, non-profit management or equivalent experience • Experience collaborating across multiple departments, outside venders, and partners • Excellent communication, organizational, and administrative skills • Strong interpersonal skills, with experience supporting staff across multiple locations and departments • Strong organizational skills and ability to work on multiple and differing projects at the same time along with varying deadlines. • Experience and/or willingness to learn Microsoft products (Office/365, Asana, Neon, and other tools) • Commitment to the mission of the Forest Stewards Guild • Must be authorized to work in the United States
