📋 Description

• Partner with SAP BI teams and Data Product teams to analyze SAP source data • Perform detailed analysis of approximately 650 SAP raw tables within project scope • Document data structures, relationships, business meaning, and technical metadata • Identify data quality issues, inconsistencies, and technical risks • Propose remediation strategies for data transformation and harmonization • Raise technical concerns and recommend improvements to architecture and data design • Collaborate with business stakeholders to validate findings and resolve data issues • Produce functional and technical documentation supporting data engineering activities • Provide guidance to Data Engineers responsible for developing the Silver data layer • Support governance, data lineage, and metadata management initiatives • Participate in technical workshops and architecture discussions • Ensure scalable and maintainable data models are designed according to enterprise standards

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of work experience • Strong experience working with SAP raw tables and SAP data structures • Deep understanding of SAP ERP data models and table relationships • Experience performing large-scale data analysis and technical documentation • Strong SQL skills for data exploration and validation • Experience working with enterprise data warehouse or lakehouse environments • Ability to analyze complex datasets and independently identify issues and solutions • Experience collaborating with Data Engineers, BI teams, and business stakeholders • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills • Excellent communication and documentation abilities • Experience working in Agile delivery teams • Nice to have: Experience with SAP ECC and/or SAP S/4HANA • Nice to have: Knowledge of modern cloud data platforms (Databricks, Snowflake, Azure, AWS) • Nice to have: Experience with ETL/ELT pipelines • Nice to have: Understanding of Medallion Architecture (Bronze / Silver / Gold) • Nice to have: Experience in pharmaceutical or other regulated industries • Nice to have: Familiarity with data governance and metadata management tools
