📋 Description

• Design and extend cloud-native clinical data transformation pipelines • Develop Python services running on AWS Lambda • Build workflows using AWS Step Functions • Develop GraphQL APIs with AWS AppSync • Contribute to the React and TypeScript frontend • Design scalable event-driven distributed systems • Manage infrastructure using Terraform • Develop large-scale data processing solutions with Databricks • Participate in architecture design and technical discussions • Perform code reviews and mentor junior engineers • Improve CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions • Troubleshoot production issues across AWS services • Write clean, testable, maintainable code • Build and extend the Clinical Data Layer, transforming and standardizing clinical trial data into the CDISC SDTM model for regulatory submissions and clinical research

🎯 Requirements

• 7+ years of Software Engineering experience • Proficiency in Python • Experience with Pytest • Experience with Lambda Powertools • Object-Oriented Design • Clean Architecture • AWS experience, including AWS Lambda, AWS Step Functions, Amazon S3, DynamoDB, and IAM • Understanding of scalability, latency, fault tolerance, distributed systems, and cost optimization • Nice-to-have: GraphQL, AWS AppSync, event-driven architecture, distributed systems, idempotency, fan-out/fan-in, React, TypeScript, Vite, AWS Cloudscape, Terraform, Infrastructure as Code, Databricks, Spark, large-scale data platforms, GitHub Actions, CI/CD, Black, Flake8, Pylint, Bandit, invoke, OpenSearch, pytest-bdd • Highly desirable domain knowledge: CDISC SDTM, ADaM, clinical trials, GxP, 21 CFR Part 11, and the pharmaceutical industry
