Fractional is a collective of experienced part-time COOs that helps online business founders escape day-to-day operations and scale their companies. They provide fractional COO services — interim/part-time operational leadership — to design systems, implement processes and KPIs, supervise teams, and co-pilot growth projects so CEOs can focus on vision and revenue. Fractional offers tiered engagements (from a few days/month to bespoke full-time equivalents), onboarding/matching, and ongoing management and mentoring to create self-managed organizations without the cost of a full-time COO.

📋 Description

• Translate the CEO’s strategic vision into concrete, prioritized action plans • Structure the organization: processes, management routines, governance, and roles and responsibilities • Establish and manage key operational and financial performance indicators • Facilitate communication between the CEO and the teams • Challenge strategic decisions and safeguard growth • Support the recruitment and development of key team members • Lead key initiatives, including scaling, reorganization, expansion, and professionalization • Work directly with CEOs supported by Fractional as a strategic and operational co-pilot

🎯 Requirements

• 5–15+ years of experience in operations leadership, general management, strategic consulting, or entrepreneurship • Significant experience in a startup, scale-up, high-growth SME, or entrepreneurial environment • Excellent command of organizational structuring, performance management, and prioritization • Strong management, finance, and organizational skills • Ability to work with demanding CEOs and challenge them tactfully • High level of autonomy, accountability, and professional maturity • Comfortable working in a fractional, multi-client format • Founder, co-founder, or former COO experience is a strong advantage
