📋 Description

• Develop and execute a comprehensive data consulting practice strategy for Fresche India GCC • Lead, mentor, and grow a team of data consultants, architects, and engineers based in India • Own client relationships and advise on database architecture, migration, performance tuning, and modernization • Drive pre-sales efforts, including solutioning, proposal development, and technical presentations • Oversee delivery of on-premises, cloud, and hybrid data consulting engagements • Provide architectural guidance across Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, and cloud environments • Identify and develop new service offerings and innovative solutions for emerging data challenges • Collaborate with sales, delivery, product, and technology partner teams • Analyze utilization, revenue, margins, and client satisfaction to optimize growth and profitability • Monitor industry trends and database best practices • Champion AI and automation integration into data consulting delivery • Build and maintain relationships with technology partners including Oracle, Microsoft, and AWS • Drive recruitment, training, and career development for the India-based consulting team

🎯 Requirements

• 20+ years of proven experience in database consulting, database architecture, or related technical roles • Significant experience delivering in the India market • At least 3–5 years in a practice leadership or managerial capacity • Deep hands-on expertise across Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL, and MongoDB • Expertise with cloud database services including AWS RDS/Aurora, Azure SQL, and GCP Cloud SQL • Strong understanding of AI and automation in database management, monitoring, and optimization • Track record of building and scaling consulting practices, driving revenue growth, and delivering successful client engagements in India • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Experience managing and mentoring a technical consulting team • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills • Strong understanding of the Indian enterprise technology landscape, industry verticals, and client buying behavior • Growth mindset and passion for technical innovation, continuous learning, and mentoring • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field • Relevant Oracle, Microsoft, or AWS certifications preferred • MBA a plus
