You like to tackle new challenges, and maybe even discover talents you never knew you had. • You like being hands-on with cloud infrastructure and the systems that actually run the business • You get satisfaction from making platforms more reliable, more secure, and easier to operate than they were yesterday • You look for ways to automate manual work and make systems more consistent • You’re comfortable working across cloud infrastructure and security operations, and supporting both in practice • You like work that keeps you thinking, whether that’s an alert, a pipeline issue, or a platform problem that needs untangling • You’re comfortable picking up alerts, investigating issues, and working through them end-to-end.

🎯 Requirements

• Believes in Future Group’s mission and has a passion for moving Australia’s money out of fossil-fuels and into renewable energy • Believes in using the power of money to build a sustainable and equitable world • Has experience across cloud infrastructure, automation, and security operations, and is ready to keep deepening it • Is a hands-on engineer, comfortable managing day-to-day work within established patterns and under senior technical guidance • Can keep environments stable and secure so engineering teams can rely on them • Is comfortable maintaining CI/CD pipelines and improving deployment reliability • Can manage identity and access in a consistent, controlled way across platforms • Is comfortable handling first-line security triage and knows when to escalate • Supports security controls and ISO 27001 operations with clear, consistent evidence and processes • Is comfortable working with monitoring and observability tooling, and acting on what it’s telling them • Contributes to documentation, runbooks, and operational practices that reduce manual effort and improve consistency • Don’t tick all the boxes?- that’s okay, we like thinking outside the box anyway.
