📋 Description

• Design, develop, test, maintain and enhance Golang microservices and frontend applications • Deliver performant, componentised interfaces driven by the company design system • Improve the performance and observability of services and applications • Improve team and business quality of life through automation, process improvement or new technologies • Collect, process and verify large amounts of financial data describing cross-border payments • Serve financial data to users so they can make informed business decisions • Interact with stakeholders across the business and the immediate team • Work in a technical team of approximately 30 technologists, typically in teams of around three engineers and a Product Manager

🎯 Requirements

• Experience writing Golang services and web app backends • Experience deploying applications in Docker containers • Experience building componentised application frontends in React/TypeScript • Ability to write performant SQL • Understanding of clean code principles and TypeScript and Go idioms • Ability to review code and establish team quality standards • Ability to learn and engage with a new business domain and product • Ability to communicate complex topics to peers • Ability to discuss how you learn and improve your skills • Based in the Bogotá, Colombia region • Periodic in-person meet-ups required • Independent contractor arrangement • Desirable: concurrent logic/goroutines, CI/CD pipelines (especially GitLab CI), observability tools such as Prometheus and Grafana, AI productivity tools, MaterialUI, Airflow, Python or Terraform
