• Lead database design and data modeling efforts • Define and enforce data standards and performance strategies • Architect, implement, and maintain SQL Server environments • Manage and optimize SSRS and SSIS solutions • Implement observability and monitoring solutions • Conduct advanced performance tuning • Develop backup, restore, and disaster recovery strategies • Collaborate with development teams for database best practices • Automate tasks using PowerShell, T-SQL, and DevOps/IaC tools • Serve as a mentor to junior DBAs • Participate in 24/7 on-call rotation
🎯 Requirements
• 6+ years of SQL Server DBA experience • Strong background in logical and physical data modeling • Hands-on experience with AWS RDS for SQL Server, Azure SQL Database • Experience in cloud migration strategies • Strong skills in backup, restore, HA/DR • Scripting proficiency with PowerShell and T-SQL
