📋 Description
• Pitch, produce, and edit long-form YouTube videos, including trailer breakdowns, news explainers, retrospectives, comparisons, and launch coverage • Cut each long-form piece into vertical content for TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and Facebook Reels • Capture gameplay and B-roll footage • Produce rapid reaction and breakdown content around major Rockstar announcements and launches • Create meme, edit, and reaction content native to the GTA community • Write hooks, titles, thumbnails, and on-screen text optimized for each platform • Turn high-performing GTA 6 Bible articles into video content • Produce videos for the website and embed them into supporting articles • Collaborate with the news desk and social manager • Set the weekly content slate and decide which formats and series to invest in • Analyze performance across platforms and make channel-growth decisions • Report channel performance and strategic recommendations in regular catch-ups
🎯 Requirements
• Showreel of short-form and long-form video produced and edited independently • Genuine knowledge of the Grand Theft Auto series and wider games landscape • Meme fluency and familiarity with gaming communities • Fluency in a professional editing suite such as Premiere, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut, or CapCut Pro • Motion graphics and captioning skills • Ability to capture clean gameplay footage independently • Demonstrable ability to create content that captures attention in the first two seconds • Track record of growing a channel or account, ideally from an early stage • Ability to interpret platform analytics and act on performance data • Judgement about which written stories merit video treatment • Reliable, self-directed work and ability to manage a pipeline and meet deadlines • Availability to react quickly around major Rockstar announcements and launches • Comfort on camera or voiceover ability preferred • Familiarity with AI clipping tools and repurposing workflows preferred • Ability to create effective thumbnails preferred
