• Build, populate and maintain divisional purchasing KPI dashboards across four business units • Establish consistent measurement methodologies across units operating on different systems • Resolve data-classification and data-integrity issues • Maintain market intelligence and vendor performance reporting, including supplier scorecards and category analysis • Compile pricing benchmarking and consolidated spend analysis to support supplier negotiations • Run demand plans and benchmark them against ERP replenishment outputs • Analyse inventory positions and recommend stock levels, safety stock and reorder points • Identify slow-moving, aged and obsolete inventory and support corrective action • Support inventory-record cleansing and data readiness for the division’s ERP implementation • Monitor forecast accuracy and service-level performance, reporting deviations and their causes • Support additional projects within the Divisional Purchasing department • Report to the Divisional Purchasing Manager
• Degree in supply chain, business, finance, statistics, economics or a related quantitative discipline, or equivalent relevant experience • Two to four years of experience in inventory planning, demand planning, supply-chain analysis, procurement analysis or a comparable data-analytical role • Experience in a distribution, retail or multi-location environment strongly preferred • Sound grasp of inventory and demand-planning fundamentals • Grounding in basic statistical and forecasting methods • Experience with ERP or inventory-planning systems • Exposure to MRP/DRP-type replenishment logic an asset • Advanced Excel and strong data-handling ability, including formula-driven workbooks and data consolidation from multiple systems • Ability to design and build reports and dashboards in business-intelligence tools such as Power BI • Ability to extract and query data from business systems; SQL or similar a strong advantage • Strong analytical rigour and attention to detail • Clear written and verbal communication • Supply chain or inventory qualification such as APICS/ASCM CPIM or CSCP an asset • Analytical, detail-oriented, self-directed, rigorous, proactive, collaborative, adaptable, confidential, solution-oriented and a clear communicator
