📋 Description

• Build and maintain efficient back-end features in Python together with a production team • Improve application performance and reliability • Define REST APIs and integrate them into solutions • Participate in architectural and design decisions • Build toward an efficient distributed application and services architecture • Improve delivery pipelines and processes • Maintain and support Gcore's Billing Engine, a highly integrated system for managing financial transactions and supporting global service delivery

🎯 Requirements

• Strong knowledge of software development principles and the entire software development lifecycle • Expertise in Python programming • Significant experience with the Django framework • Extensive experience with relational databases, particularly Postgres • Experience writing, analyzing, and optimizing SQL queries • Experience with message brokers, particularly RabbitMQ • Experience with asynchronous task queues, particularly Celery • Proficiency in creating and consuming APIs • Understanding of modern CI/CD practices • Understanding of observability tooling and basic DevOps principles • Verbal and written English communication skills • Ability to collaborate remotely with a globally distributed international team • Solid understanding of containerization and orchestration with Kubernetes is a plus • Strong grasp of Agile and test-driven development is a plus • Knowledge of additional backend technologies and frameworks is a plus • Experience with system monitoring tools and performance optimization techniques is a plus • Prior experience with billing or payment systems is a plus
