📋 Description

• Analyze Medicaid and CHIP financial data, including forms such as CMS-37, CMS-64, CMS-21B, and CMS-21, to support quarterly and annual reporting • Evaluate state, regional, and national fiscal trends and identify anomalies or risks that require remediation or follow-up • Support development of financial models, forecasts, and budget analyses for Medicaid programs • Interpret federal and state Medicaid policies that impact budget formulation, expenditures, and cost allocation • Collaborate with program, finance, and compliance teams to ensure timely and accurate submissions • Prepare internal and external reports summarizing financial findings, trends, and recommendations • Assist in continuous improvement of processes, analytics, and documentation

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Public Policy, Healthcare Administration, or related field • At least 4 years of experience in financial analysis, preferably in Medicaid, CHIP, or other federal health programs • Strong analytical skills with the ability to work with complex datasets • Proficiency in Excel and financial modeling • Experience with federal reporting systems (such as MBES or MACFin) is a plus • Strong written and verbal communication skills
