📋 Description
• Conduct all electrical system studies for HV substation projects • Perform Load Flow, Reactive Power Capability and Compensation, Power Factor Study, and Short Circuit Study • Produce detail technical specifications and factory acceptance test criteria for major HV equipment • Provide guidance and coordinate engineering tasks to meet project/tender requirements • Develop and industrialize solutions tools and processes associated with system studies • Support and mentor other engineers to increase team’s technical knowledge and competence
🎯 Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering with proven professional experience in power systems engineering • Minimum 5 years’ experience in network or transient studies for conventional and renewable energy systems • Able and willing to travel 20% including international and comply with GE travel guidelines • Knowledge of the North American Electric Reliability Corporation (NERC) and Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) compliance requirements • Familiarity with NERC standards like TPL, MOD, and PRC • Knowledge of RAM (Reliability-Availability-Maintainability) studies • Strong knowledge on contract and project management, engineering, procurement and construction (EPC)
