📋 Description

• Lead a variety of projects including technical evaluations and analyses in the area of Anticipated Operational Occurrences, Anticipated Transients without Scram, Reactor Heat Balance, and Thermal Hydraulic Fuel Channel Analyses • Perform plant thermal hydraulic evaluations and analyses in the areas of Containment, HELB, Fire Safe Shutdown, Annulus Pressurization Loads, and RIPD analyses • Deliver products at a consistently high and sustainable level in accordance with customer requirements, business procedures, and regulatory agency guidelines • Prepare thorough and accurate technical reports, correspondence, documentation, and calculations • Perform technical verification of engineering technical deliverables • Prepare, communicate, and present complex technical issues to internal and external customers and recommend solutions

🎯 Requirements

• B.S. Degree in Engineering Discipline (Nuclear, Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or similar) • At least 8 years of relevant nuclear experience • This role requires access to U.S. export-controlled information • Master's Degree or Ph.D. Degree in Engineering; or Senior Reactor Operator Certification is preferred • Experience with BWR core simulation and thermal-hydraulic systems codes • Extensive knowledge of fundamental principles of nuclear engineering such as nuclear physics, thermal hydraulics, and mechanical design, as applied to BWR • Expertise in two-phase thermal hydraulic analysis techniques • Programming experience such as C#, FORTRAN, or PYTHON
