📋 Description

• Responsible for project control and promoting uniform functional specifications as well as common global processes for project implementation. • Lead activities to better capture and ultimately fulfill customer expectations. • Responsible for operational planning and execution, with a focus on performing professional activities within a technical discipline. • Work independently within established guidelines and review final deliverables. • Responsible for project management of large and complex turnkey EPC projects as a general contractor or within a consortium for electrical substations in distribution and transmission networks up to 420 kV. • Oversee the project and provide direct or indirect leadership and management of project resources. • Contribute to strategy and policy development and ensure delivery within the area of responsibility. • Exercise strong judgment for decision-making and constructive resolution of moderate-level tasks or problems in operations/product management, manufacturing, technology, or engineering. • Prepare the project management plan. • Manage the entire project scope, risks and opportunities, and analyze customer requirements. • Responsible for project margin and maximizing profit and cash flow at every project stage. • Responsible for all aspects of communication within the project and with the client, including reporting to management.

🎯 Requirements

• Significant long-term experience in project management and turnkey project management, preferably for high-voltage substations. • PMI certification or equivalent. • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering with an electrical focus, or a comparable qualification. • Fluent German and very good English skills. • Experience leading interdisciplinary teams with multiple interfaces and a significant local project component. • Experience in team building and developing team culture. • Management of projects with high financial, technical, and commercial risk. • Experience with P&L targets. • Willingness to undertake short- to mid-term assignments at various locations and to travel internationally.
