📋 Description

• Perform resources and logistics activities for services and maintenance at customer sites • Contribute to, maintain, repair, and refurbish sold or existing products • Perform preventive and remedial maintenance services • Manage maintenance facilities and field services engineering • Perform onsite life extensions, repairs, and inspection-related service activities for installed fleets • Supervise construction and commissioning of new and existing equipment at customer sites • Apply professional discipline knowledge and specialized technical expertise • Resolve issues within established procedures and consult senior team members when needed • Collaborate with others to solve issues • Serve as the interface between customers and GE for customer-facing work

🎯 Requirements

• Degreed engineer • Basic experience in Services & Field Services • Knowledge level comparable to a Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college, or a high school diploma with relevant experience • 5+ years of experience in Services and Field Services • Ability to perform onsite machining, NDT, blading, winding, critical welding, and generator diagnostics • Ability to make engineering decisions • Ability to resolve issues using established procedures • Ability to collaborate with others and develop strong customer relationships • For customer-facing roles, ability to exchange technical information, ask questions, and check for understanding
