📋 Description

• Perform services and maintenance activities at customer sites/properties • Contribute to, maintain, repair, and refurbish sold or existing products • Perform preventive and remedial maintenance services • Perform onsite life extensions, repairs, and inspection-related service activities for installed fleets • Supervise construction and commissioning of new and existing equipment at customer sites • Perform onsite machining, NDT, blading, winding, critical welding, and generator diagnostics • Consult supervisors or senior team members on issues outside defined instructions or parameters • Collaborate with others to solve issues • Develop customer relationships and act as the interface between customers and GE • Exchange technical information, ask questions, and check for understanding

🎯 Requirements

• Degreed engineer • Knowledge level comparable to a Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college, or a high school diploma with relevant experience • 5+ years of experience in Services and Field Services • Basic experience in Services & Field Services • Knowledge of onsite machining, NDT, blading, winding, critical welding, and generator diagnostics • Ability to make engineering decisions • Ability to resolve issues using established procedures • Ability to collaborate with others and develop strong customer relationships • For customer-facing roles, ability to serve as the interface between customer and GE and exchange technical information
