📋 Description

• Provide expertise in Workday Financials Modules - specifically Workday Billing, Procurement, Payables, Assets and General Ledger • Manage system architecture of the Workday Financial system • Provide support for Workday Security and other functional areas • Build product definition and leverage technical skills to drive towards the right solution • Engage in cross-functional collaboration throughout the entire software lifecycle • Lead in design sessions and code reviews with peers to elevate engineering quality • Ensure accuracy and integrity of data and applications through analysis, coding, documentation, and problem resolution • Analyze and translate business and functional specifications and change requests into technical specifications • Work with other teams to design, develop, test, implement, and support technical solutions in Workday tools and technologies • Share and experiment with recent technologies and participate in internal and external technology communities • Mentor other engineers and consistently share best practices • Support finance business transformation from traditional IT to a tech organization with engineering excellence as its mission

🎯 Requirements

• 4+ years of professional software development experience within Workday Ecosystem - focused on Financials • 3+ years of experience with architecture and design • 2+ years of experience with AWS, GCP, Azure, or another cloud service • Experience with assessing current solutions and provide best practices • Experience with Finance Transformation projects • Knowledge of Workday development tools (Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB), Workday Studio, Workday Report Writer, BIRT) • Experience with designing, developing, implementing, and maintaining solutions • Expert at creating complex calculated fields • Experience with developing systems that are scalable, resilient, and highly available • Advanced understanding of monitoring concepts and tooling • Experience with Agile methods and Azure • Experience architecting and designing new and current systems • Strong problem-solving ability • Knowledge of developer tooling across the software development life cycle (task management, source code, building, deployment, operations, real-time communication) • Ability to prioritize workload and execute tasks independently, providing timely follow-up and resolution • Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment • Provide expertise in Workday Financials Modules - specifically Workday Billing, Procurement, Payables, Assets and General Ledger • Provide support for Workday Security and other functional areas • Mentor other engineers • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent education or work experience • At this time, GEICO will not sponsor a new applicant for employment authorization for this position
