• Audit AI-generated research reports to trace statistics, market sizes, historical facts, and case studies back to primary sources. • Identify and correct AI hallucinations, outdated data, and logical inconsistencies in draft deliverables. • Cross-reference market growth projections and competitive landscapes across multiple reputable databases. • Create and maintain source maps or citation indexes for client deliverables. • Assess the credibility of third-party sources, flag biased data, and suggest more reputable alternatives.
• Bachelor degree in Library / Information Science, Journalism, History, Law/Paralegal Studies, or a highly research-intensive field. • 2 years of professional experience in fact-checking, legal research, investigative journalism, or academic publishing. • Natural disposition to double-check obvious facts and relentless drive to find original sources. • Familiarity with LLMs, including Gemini and ChatGPT, and understanding of how they generate and sometimes misrepresent information. • Experience using advanced research databases, including LexisNexis, Google Scholar, and Statista. • Proficiency with Boolean search operators.
