• Overseeing commercial activities in APAC, which includes implementation of commercial strategies, sales, forecasting, budgeting and talent management • Oversee and manage APAC business development activities, including commercial strategies and tracking of Sales KPIs • Targeting new business opportunities with existing, new customers and partners • Designing solutions and business approaches aligned with customer needs using best practices and recommendations from Genetec product and offering groups • Communicating, coordinating with customer and internal groups to ensure the quality and timeliness of projects throughout the commercial cycle • Managing the response to calls for tenders in collaboration with multiple Genetec collaborators • Supervising, managing and supporting the Sales teams in accordance with the corporate culture
• Bachelor of science, engineering or equivalent • MBA would be a plus • 10+ years of leading sales teams, preferably in a software/technology environment • Experience creating and implementing proven successful commercial strategies for creating demand • Strong collaboration & negotiation skills, showing ability to influence without ownership, gaining support and trust across the organization to achieve agreed upon business outcomes • Excellent communicator with proven ability to clearly convey complex ideas • Outstanding project management skills and the proven ability to manage multiple complex initiatives in parallel • Strong people management capabilities, including acquisition of world-class talent, development and motivation/coaching of high-performance teams • A personal style that is viewed as open-minded and collaborative • Should be self-motivated and results-oriented, have excellent analytical skills • Must be independent and comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment • Language skills: English to a business standard. Other Asian languages are an asset
