📋 Description

• Perform detailed quantity takeoffs for commercial framing and construction projects • Prepare accurate and competitive bids and estimates • Review construction drawings, plans, specifications, and project scope • Prepare and manage RFIs, submittals, revisions, and bid updates • Conduct vendor outreach to obtain pricing and project information • Coordinate with subcontractors regarding scope, pricing, and project requirements • Provide general pre-construction support and analysis • Communicate directly with clients and project stakeholders when required • Manage multiple estimating assignments and support high-volume bidding • Complete estimates according to project volume while maintaining accuracy • Work within construction software including PlanSwift, Bluebeam, ProConnect, Procore, Revit, and AutoCAD • Maintain organized estimating documentation and project records • Identify scope gaps, discrepancies, and potential estimating risks • Collaborate with leadership and project teams to support successful project bids • Independently manage estimates from takeoff through bid submission

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years of commercial or industrial construction estimating experience • Civil Engineering degree or equivalent hands-on commercial estimating experience • Commercial construction project experience required; residential-only experience insufficient • Strong ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications • Experience performing detailed quantity takeoffs and preparing bids • Familiarity with at least one major construction estimating or bidding platform • Fluent English and Spanish; native Spanish preferred • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Ability to communicate professionally with clients, vendors, subcontractors, and internal teams • Proven ability to work independently in a remote environment • Strong organization, time management, and follow-through • Reliable internet connection and dedicated remote workspace • Willingness to commit to a 1-year agreement with a 2-week termination clause • Availability for 40 hours/week • Familiarity with PlanSwift, Bluebeam, ProConnect, Procore, Revit, or AutoCAD
