📋 Description

• Prepare accurate quantity takeoffs and cost estimates for commercial painting projects. • Review architectural drawings, specifications, and bid documents to develop complete estimates. • Estimate interior and exterior painting scopes for large multifamily apartment complexes and other commercial projects. • Utilize takeoff and estimating software such as Bluebeam, Revit, or similar industry-standard platforms. • Respond to Requests for Information (RFIs) and Scope Change Items (SCIs) throughout the estimating process. • Track multiple active bids while meeting deadlines and maintaining estimated accuracy. • Identify potential risks, scope gaps, and clarifications during bid preparation. • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure complete and competitive proposals.

🎯 Requirements

• 7+ years of estimating experience supporting US commercial construction projects. • Strong written and verbal English communication skills. • Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. • Experience estimating projects involving 250–400+ unit apartment complexes. • Familiarity with Bluebeam, Revit, and other construction estimating platforms. • Proven experience estimating commercial painting projects, preferably large multifamily developments. • Strong ability to read and interpret architectural drawings, specifications, and construction documents. • Experience performing detailed quantity takeoffs using industry-standard estimating software. • Excellent understanding of commercial painting methods, materials, and production rates. • Experience supporting active projects through RFIs, scope clarifications, and change management. • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple concurrent estimates independently.
