📋 Description

• Provide L2 application support for Java-based applications • Troubleshoot and resolve incidents related to Java, Servlets, JDBC, PL/SQL, and Unix environments • Perform log analysis, basic debugging, and issue triaging • Support deployment activities under senior team guidance • Monitor applications and batch processes, escalating issues as required • Collaborate with the onsite/offshore teams to ensure timely issue resolution within SLAs • Maintain and update documentation, issue logs, and runbooks • Participate in shift-based and on-call support rotations

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum 6+ years in application support or related areas • Good knowledge of Java and ability to debug application issues • Understanding of Servlets, JSP, and JDBC for issue resolution • Experience with Oracle 19c – SQL/PL-SQL scripting and query tuning basics • Familiarity with IBM Liberty and Tomcat for app deployment and monitoring • Proficiency in Unix/Linux (RHEL) – log analysis, cron jobs, shell commands • Exposure to Shell Scripting (C-shell/Bash) for automation and troubleshooting • Working knowledge of C/C++ executables and their role in batch processing • Awareness of frontend debugging concepts (HTML, JavaScript)
