📋 Description

• Preparation of proposals/bids, contract negotiation and compliance with contract commitments and commercial risk assessment. • Responsible for developing commercial proposals, contract negotiation and managing commercial risk to secure profitable business for the Power Conversion business. • Lead contract negotiations and customer meetings including the legal aspects of the contract i.e. limitation of liability, insurance, indemnities, etc., and bring the deal for closure/contract signature. • Understand and have the ability to create project cash flows based on the project profile, exchange rates fluctuations (USD, CAD, EUR, BRL, etc), and cost escalation models. • Development of commercial proposals for low, medium and complex RFQ/RFI/RFP, working cross-functionally with Sales, Legal, Finance, Engineering and Sourcing aligning customers’ expectations against the company’s profitability and risk profiles. • Ensure compliance with the commercial risk process for all transactions and lead the technical, profitability and commercial inputs during presentations at risk meetings. • Communicates difficult concepts and may influence others' opinions on particular topics by guiding others to consider a different point of view. • Interfaces with other GE Vernova businesses and works globally to increase our penetration in the markets. • Works with regional commercial and risk teams to identify opportunities for simplification and productivity.

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum 5 years commercial experience. • Minimum 2 years contract management / negotiation experience. • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Commercial Management, Business and/or Contract Law; • Direct experience with commercial offering on large complex systems in the Industrial segment. • Strong track record of working with cross-functional teams. • Technical knowledge of electrical solutions, including automation, low & medium-voltage motors, and variable speed drives. • Prior technical sales and contract negotiation experience. • Strong project time management skills. • Customer-focused mindset with proven ability to respond quickly to customer needs. • Strong coordination and influencing skills. • Knowledge of customer financial drivers / needs. • Ability to utilize analytical software and sales tools (CRM, Excel, Word, etc.). • Ability to multi-task on a variety of projects to strict time scales. • Strong oral and written communication skills.
