• Development and adherence to the OneGE safety shutdown plan • Manage scope by planning, organizing, and supervising the field team • Work closely with the project planner to develop and maintain resource-loaded schedules • Manage incurred and forecasted costs • Work with a cross-functional project team and understand all deliverables that may affect field execution • Prepare the project site prior to field team mobilization (e.g., infrastructure, tooling, etc.) • Actively participate in design processes, the development of new lessons learned, and feedback processes • Manage site documentation (quality, EHS, daily reports, timekeeping, expense reports, etc.) • Actively participate in defining special tooling requirements with the Methods and Special Tooling team • Promote margin improvement opportunities, cost optimization initiatives, and scope extension opportunities • Contribute to the training program as required • Travel approximately 70–100% of the time, as required.
• University degree (B.A.Sc. or M.A.Sc.) in a technical or management discipline (or equivalent experience) • Construction/site management experience • Experience in power generation • Experience in cost control • Familiarity with technical concepts (including hydroelectric machinery, turbines, generators, etc.) • Excellent leadership skills
