âą Providing day-to-day EHS support for site activities across all GSI as it is relates active project within the United States. âą Develop strong working relationship with operational and project managers in the region to drive the expected EHS culture across all operations. âą Act as support liaison for all sites in helping comply with regulatory requirements. âą Ensure all operations are carried out in compliance with applicable regulatory and GE requirements. âą Conduct audits in line with the business audit plan, with rigor and consistency, to identify deficiencies and drive improvements in the management of EHS. âą Conduct regular inspections of sites and working methods to ensure safety rules and procedures are followed. âą Support onsite initiatives including Life Saving Rule validations, GE Vernova initiatives. âą Perform onsite Orientations for GEV personnel, Contractors and Visitors. âą Perform contractor evaluations on monthly basis in Complyworks. âą Review, analyze and evaluate effectiveness of existing programs and recommend necessary improvements. âą Conduct ITO reviews and assess EHS requirements and risks to support the business being successful in gaining orders. âą Conduct investigations and analysis of all accidents or hazardous situations. Identify trends and causes, as well as follow up on corrective and preventative actions. âą Deliver EHS training to assigned sites population as required. âą Ensure all internal and external EHS reporting is completed on time and with accuracy.
âą Bachelor degree from accredited college or university OR a High School Diploma/Equivalent with minimum 5 years of EHS experience âą 5+ years EHS experience, with exposure to several EHS areas in a Services environment with primary experience in Safety âą Knowledge of Oil and Gas, Electrification, Energy business with a specific focus on Power and Substations âą Knowledge of North American EHS legislation âą Must be legally authorized to work in the USA without sponsorship now or in the future âą Ability to travel up to 85%, as required with planned rotations âą Fluent in English âą Willing to become certified CPR Instructor âą Strong oral and written communication skills âą Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems. âą Established project management skills.
